Yacine Haddad

Particle Physicist

Hey there! I'm Yacine Haddad, and I'm currently a research associate at Northeastern University. My passion lies in exploring the fascinating world of particle physics. Specifically, I focus on conducting precise measurements of the Standard Model and Higgs boson properties, as well as hunting down dark matter using data from the epic Large Hadron Collider (LHC) collisions recorded by the CMS detector.

Poke around and see what Iβ€˜m up to. Itβ€˜s all open source, so feel free to contribute.

Higgs CP at Les Houches 2019

Imagine sitting amidst the stunning backdrop of the Alps, where the world's brightest minds in particle physics convene. That's exactly what happened at the Les Houches 2019 workshop. I will be diving, in this post, into one of the topics discussed there: the Higgs boson's CP properties and a proposal to extend the definition of the Simplified Template Cross Section framework to include CP sensitive bins.
